SetSync ("we", "us", or "our") is a band management application that helps bands schedule rehearsals and gigs, manage setlists, and coordinate members. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password (encrypted).
• Band data: Band names, member details (including email addresses, phone numbers, and payment account identifiers such as Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, and Zelle IDs), rehearsal and gig schedules, setlists, song libraries, and date poll responses you create.
• Usage data: How you interact with the app, including features used and preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the SetSync service.
• To send rehearsal and gig reminders to you and your band members.
• To notify band members of schedule changes.
• To facilitate payment tracking between band leaders and members, including displaying payment account identifiers (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle) on shared pages.
• To send welcome and promotional emails about SetSync Pro features and offers to registered users.
• To improve our features and user experience.
• To respond to your support requests and inquiries.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Band data you create is visible only to members within your band. Band leaders may also generate secure share links to make specific information — such as member profiles, event details, setlists, and analytics — accessible to anyone with the link. Member profiles, gigs, and rehearsals shared this way may include the member's email address, phone number, and payment account identifiers (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle). Members can opt out of having their email address displayed on shared links at any time through the email opt-out setting; phone numbers and payment account identifiers are always visible on shared gig and rehearsal pages to facilitate payments. Band leaders may also update a member's availability status on their behalf for scheduling purposes. You may also contact your band leader to update or remove your shared information at any time. We may also share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the app (such as payment processors and email delivery services), but only to the extent necessary.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Settings page, which will permanently remove your information.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage most of this directly through the app. You may opt out of receiving promotional and marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email, which directs you to your Email Preferences page. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails such as event reminders and schedule change notifications. For any other requests, please contact us through our Contact page.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the app.
